Kristina Cannon

As President and CEO of Main Street Skowhegan, Kristina Cannon leads strategic initiatives focused on community and economic development. She is spearheading the Skowhegan River Park project, which includes outdoor recreation facilities, trails, and a riverfront promenade, raising over $8 million to date.

Under Kristina’s leadership, MSS is transforming Skowhegan through outdoor recreation, business support, and career development programs, with a focus on equity and inclusion. MSS also secured $484,500 for regional tourism development and is a finalist for up to $50 million in federal funding for job creation.

Recognized as a 2024 Mainebiz Woman to Watch and the 2023 Maine Outdoor Industry Leader of the Year, Kristina has earned numerous accolades for her contributions to Maine’s economy. A Maine native, she is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys paddleboarding, skiing, and hiking in the Maine woods.
