Pete Roberts has taken an audacious gamble on the American Dream amidst the backdrop of
the trade wars that gutted his Maine hometown.

After the 2008 recession, with nothing left to lose, Pete remortgaged his small home to build a timber frame factory in the woods of Industry, Maine, embarking on a crusade against the corporate greed that has overshadowed New England industrial resilience. In his quest to rediscover what’s been lost, Pete has built two formidable brands, simultaneously. Origin, which manufactures apparel and footwear, dirt to shirt in their own factories. And Jocko Fuel, a sports nutrition and beverage brand.

A natural born entrepreneur, in just over a decade, and with little outside capital, Pete had grown his enterprise to over $250 million in annual revenue, and over a billion dollars in value. Pete has set up manufacturing across multiple states, most recently in North Carolina, where he resurrected a 170,000 sq denim manufacturing plant with a promise to manufacture one million pairs of jeans a year with 100% American denim. Furthermore, Pete’s fast growing nutritional brand, Jocko Fuel can be found throughout the country at Walmart, Vitamin Shoppe and locally at Hannaford.
