Julie Dawson Williams
Julie Dawson Williams has been a licensed real estate agent and REALTOR since 2000. Julie graduated from Bangor High School in 1999 and Bowdoin College in 2003. After graduating from college, Julie moved to Washington, D.C. to work in the office of U.S. Senator Susan M. Collins in several capacities, and finally as the Legislative Correspondent on healthcare, art, and historic preservation issues. In 2006, Julie started working for the New England Council as Deputy Director of Federal Affairs, specializing in economic development advocacy on Capitol Hill representing the six New England states. Julie focused on higher education, healthcare, and technology policy. In March of 2008, Julie and her husband returned to Bangor. Julie is proud to be back in her home town working in the family business and has worked her way up to become the Designated Broker and CEO of ERA Dawson Bradford and Dawson Insurance Agency. Since joining the Dawson team, she has recruited and developed new real estate agents, assisted experienced agents in growing their businesses, managed overall business growth through downturns and pandemics, implemented cutting edge technology services for agents and clients, overseen a refresh of the brand, and redesigned the agent training program. Julie has served as a committee member on the City of Bangor Planning Board, director for the Penobscot Theatre Company, the President the Greater Bangor Association of REALTORS Board, and the Chair of Fusion:Bangor. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Northern Light Health and director of Maine Real Estate Information Systems (MLS). Julie is also Adjunct Faculty at The Real Estate Learning Group and teaches pre-licensing courses.
