Charles Galemmo

Charles Galemmo has spent his career working in the hospitality industry. Starting as a
dishwasher, Charles progressed to Chef and General Manager. He then worked as a
consultant, opening over a dozen restaurants and helping owners increase sales and
profitability. He did this consulting as an independent company and in a corporate franchise
setting. Charles left private industry to pursue his passion as an educator, being Chair of the
Culinary Arts Department at York County Community College. Today he brings his expertise to
MCCS’ Harold Aflond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce developing workforce
training throughout the State.
